Access Keys Improve Accessibility

Access keys are a way to jump immediately to a specific part of a web page by pressing ALT (on a PC) or CTRL (on a Mac), followed by the appropriate key on the keyboard. Some browsers may also require the SHIFT key, so ALT + SHIFT and then the appropriate access key.

Useful as shortcuts for all users, access keys are particularly useful for people with mobility issues, allowing the use of the keyboard to navigate the page rather than a mouse.
